  1. 4 Large Potatoes.
  2. 100 g Cheddar Cheese.
  3. 2-3 Chilli Peppers (for decoration).
  4. Herbs and Spices.
  5. Olive Oil.

Fragrant Roasted Potatoes with Melted Cheddar Cheese (Vegetarian) instructions :

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 200 C (392 F). Wash the potatoes and cut them into medium-sized cubes. Grate the Cheddar cheese..
  2. Coat a baking dish or roasting pan with olive oil. Make sure that the potatoes are fairly dry before putting them in the pan. After putting the potatoes in the pan, put some olive oil on them as well (but don't overdo it)..
  3. Add salt, pepper and herbs and spices (I recommend chilli flakes, herbes de provence or a similar spice mix, garam masala and chives). Mix it all together so that the spices and the oil evenly cover the potatoes..
  4. Put the potatoes in the over and bake for about 30-40 minutes (until they turn lightly golden-brown). About 10 minutes before they're done, open the oven and add the chilli peppers to the pan. About 5 minutes before they're done, open the oven and add the grated Cheddar cheese to the pan, to evenly cover the potatoes..
  5. Turn off the heat and enjoy your meal! 🙂.
