  1. 200 g dark cooking choc (I used 45% & 70% half-half).
  2. 120 g melted butter.
  3. 120 g plain flour.
  4. 120 g caster sugar.
  5. 20 g cocoa powder.
  6. 20 g full cream milk powder.
  7. 1/2 tsp baking soda.
  8. 1 pinch salt.
  9. 1/2 tsp vanilla essence.
  10. 3 eggs, lightly beaten.
  11. Almond flakes & dark choc chips as required.
  12. Grated cheddar cheese for toppings.

Dark Choc Almond Brownies with Cheese Toppings instructions :

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degree. Melt the dark cooking choc along with butter (I used microwave, 30 seconds at a time, but you can also use the stovetop method).
  2. In a large bowl, combine other ingredients. Remember to sift the flour, sugar and cocoa powder for a smooth brownies..
  3. Add the choc and butter mixture. Then continue to whisk (I used a stand mixer, high speed for 5 mins) until combine and the dough becomes lighter in colour..
  4. Mix in the choc chips and almond flakes. Give the dough a good mix with spatula. Then transfer to a baking pan that’s already lightly greased with melted butter/margarine..
  5. Add the grated cheese on top and into the oven for 25 mins. You can stick in a toothpick into the brownie to check if it’s done. If the toothpick comes out clean, then your brownies is ready to go! 😉 remember to let it cool first before serving. Happy trying!.
