Healthy Pasta Salad. - - If you are like plenty of us, you know that you need to be eating more healthy. Nonetheless, making a positive change in your eating habits doesn't mean you could't make your favorite recipes anymore. With the renewed curiosity in wholesome cooking and eating, there are many new and fascinating methods to adapt your time-tested recipes to make them higher for you- and you can do it without sacrificing a little bit of taste. It doesn't matter why you might be changing your eating habits- in your health or your appearance- making adjustments doesn't suggest giving up all your favourite foods.

Ingredients of Healthy Pasta Salad :

  1. 150 grams pasta shapes.
  2. 4 small tomatoes (I used baby plum tomatoes).
  3. 1/4 red pepper.
  4. 1/4 orange pepper.
  5. 1 small carrot peeled.
  6. 1 handful of cheese.
  7. 2 inches of cucumber.
  8. 1 spring onion.
  9. 3 tbsp mayonnaise.
  10. 1 pinch of salt and pepper.
  11. 1 small clove of garlic (optional).
  12. 1 small knob of butter.

Healthy Pasta Salad instructions :

  1. cook pasta according to instructions.
  2. while pasta is cooking chop tomatoes, pepper, cucumber and spring onion into small pieces.
  3. grate the carrot and cheese.
  4. finely crushed the garlic.
  5. as soon as the pasta is cooked, drain and add the garlic and butter. put back on a low heat and stir until the butter is melted. remove from heat and add the carrot, cheese, tomatoes and pepper. stir until combined.
  6. leave to cool slightly then add the cucumber.
  7. for my daughter I added one tbsp of mayonnaise, stirred and served hers. then I added the rest of the mayo, spring onion, salt and pepper for me.
  8. you can change the mayonnaise for salad cream or other salad dressings. bit more healthy remove the cheese. goes well with cooked chicken or fish. for salad tacos I lined my bowl with lettuce leaves and used them as taco shells.
